CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS AND ADVERTISEMENTS FOR THE SAMT
Call for contributions for the South African Music Teachers Magazine (SAMT)
SAMT is inviting abstracts (summaries/outlines/proposals – maximum 250 words) for its 2024 issue, which will focus on various aspects of music education and practices. Contributions, such as articles, essays and reviews, will offer authors the opportunity to share their experiences and knowledge on topics like general music education, classroom experiences and successes, pedagogies, performance practices, new publications or compositions and the role of eisteddfods and festivals, etcetera. These contributions will provide readers with valuable insights and information for future classroom use.
Important dates:
Abstract submission deadline: 16 September 2024
Notification of decision: 30 September 2024
Submission of author’s biography (with photo ̶ JPG file): 14 October 2024
Deadline for submission of contributions: 31 October 2024
Publication date: December 2024
