Into the Mix Results
The SASMT Gqeberha Centre would like to thank all the hard-working teachers in our city, and all the participants for entering this year’s SASMT ‘Into The Mix’ Contemporary and Jazz Music Competition. We had a record of 160 entries this year – thank you! This speaks to the growing interest of this competition.
The competition, hosted at Curro Westbrook Independent Schools from 16–18 May 2025, created an opportunity for primary and high school performers of contemporary and jazz music to enter into various sections (based on their music grade and musical style). The competition was incredibly adjudicated by Michelle Mattheus. We are pleased to announce the following 2025 SASMT ‘Into The Mix’ Contemporary and Jazz Music Competition finalists and prize winners:
